As you go through your day, the acoustic environment around you is constantly changing - from the relative quiet of your car or office, to the high activity levels found in airports and on city streets. If you''re like most mobile phone users, you''re frustrated by the performance of your hands-free device specifically, its inability to eliminate background noise and provide sound clarity in a wide variety of locations and situations.

    5 of 5 finally... Tuesday, November 04, 2008
    A Customer from Cincinnati, OH

This is the best bluetooth I have come across. It is small, does not fall out of my ear, easy to use, and the sound is excellent. I am so glad I took a chance to try it.

2 of 5 Awesome in Theory, Reality Sucks Wednesday, September 17, 2008
    Ed from San Diego, CA
This thing is cool to look at, fits in the ear nice, however, nobody can hear you speak when you use it! It picks up all the noise around you so when you call someone they hear everything going on and not your voice. It basically feels like a hearing aid that you can attempt to use as a bluetooth device. Used mine a total of 2 days before it found its way to Craigslist.

4 of 5 very good -- consistent sound, good fit, sleek loo Monday, September 08, 2008
    Evan from Santa Monica, CA
This is my first bluetooth headset, and I have liked it a lot. The sound quality has some tradeoffs. BAD: There is some background static, and people sound somewhat tinny (both directions). GOOD: People tell me my voice is very clear and easy to understand--and they like listening to me on this much better than even my wired headset. The fit is great; its size is adjustable and stays in my ear very easily and comfortably. The button interface took a moment to learn, but is easy to use at that point. The environmental noise pass-through mode seems silly and is easy to turn off. I haven't had to test the noise reduction feature yet. Battery life is great.

    5 of 5 Good Synchronization Saturday, August 16, 2008
    Steve Hoem from Minneapolis, MN
I have used several Bluetooth earbuds and this is the first I have used that does not lose synch with my phone. I have a Treo 755p that didn't maintain synch with either the Cardo Scala or the Plantronics headsets. As soon as I turn this headset on, it synchs and after two weeks of daily use, it has yet to lose the connection with my phone. I read some other concerns about the ear hook. I decided to try the phone without the hook and have had no trouble with it falling out of my ear using only the rubber ear loop that holds inside the ear. My only complaints are: 1. Battery needs to be charged at the end of each day - I tried going two days without charging the battery and the SM100 ran low on battery half-way thru the 2nd day. 2. I hear a faint ring at times when I am talking on the SM100. Others say they don't hear it so I have decided to put up with it (because the synch is so strong). 3. The SM100 is so small that I have almost lost it a few times when I take it out of my ear and set it down. Lastly, I don't like the environmental mode where it acts as a background noise amplifier to let the ambient sounds thru to your ear when you have the SM100 in your ear. When I place the SM100 in my pocket when not in use, the switch gets bumped turning the environmental mode on and draining the battery. Overall, I have been very pleased with the SM100 as it is very dependable-unlike others, I know it will be in synch and ready to answer the phone when I need it.

    5 of 5 Awesome Product Monday, June 30, 2008
    A Customer from Harrisburg, IL
This is my first bluetooth headset and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I based this purchase solely on my research and reviews I've read and I can now see why - it has exceptional sound, fits perfectly and is easy to use (once I read the manual of course). I would recommend this headset without hesitation.

    5 of 5 Small size, Big performance SM100(black) Friday, June 20, 2008
    A Customer from Alameda, CA
I'm a truck driver and needed a bluetooth earpiece that let me hear above the ambient noise of the road and diesel tractor. The SM100 definitely fit the bill. I have no problem hearing who I'm talking with and they in turn say they can hear me loud and clear with very little background noise. It's lightweight, has a snug, comfortable fit with good, clear volume at both ends of the conversation. It paired easily with my LG phone and even let's me use voice dialing of the numbers in my contact list without ever touching my phone. Unless you're hard of hearing you won't need the environmental mode, which basically just ampliflies the sound coming into that ear when you're not on a call. So, all things considered, I'm satisfied and happy with the SM100.

    1 of 5 Hugely disappointing Friday, June 20, 2008
    bradknox81 from San Francisco, CA
After doing a lot of research on what I would buy for my first bluetooth headset, I chose this one. The sound output was tinny and frankly painful. Using it with my Mac on Skype, people complained about the microphone quality, even laughing at how bad it was. I think that a certain percentage of these headsets are just faulty. There's no way other people who love this headset just have a different interpretation of its performance. I can't imagine anybody being happy with the one I received.

2 of 5 Not worth the buy Tuesday, June 10, 2008
    A Customer from Fairfax, VA
The looped earpiece becomes loose after sometime. The call quality is not very good as there is always a background static noise. The volume button stopped working after two months only and the call quality has further gone down.
