I like the product a lot. I don't intend on replacing it any time soon. The setup was very easy, and I did not have to fiddle with anything to make it work. Just connected the Bluetooth module, charged the mouse, put batteries in the keyboard, and that was it. The software that it comes with is very nice because you can control everything, but do not expect to be able to map every key the way you want it. At least I have not found that to be the case. My friends and I have not been disappointed by the quality or connection yet. Love the convenience and features. Was this review helpful?

The cordless mx5500 keyboard and mouse combo is an excellent combo, both perform as they should and beyond. The keys on the keyboard have less of a responsive feedback as a conventional keyboard, which some may not be used to. The integrated quick keys and lcd screen are very intuitive and useful. The mx revolution mouse has a very solid build, and commanding feel. The scroll wheel is unique in that it has a "hyper-fast" design which I had no idea what it was until I actually used it. The "hyper-fast" function though not entirely necessary, is helpful in going through extremely long documents or webpages. All of these great features come with a extremely large price tag of about $150, which I would never fork up. However given the limited time discount offered by Buy.com and their rebate in conjunction the price was brought down to ~$90, which is only an arm, not an arm and leg. Was this review helpful?

Amazing mouse+keyboard kit. Working distance is amazing. I can use it from 2nd floor to control the pc downstairs. The mouse battery life is some short compared with the keyboard. And the price is a little high. Was this review helpful?

Using the keyboard and mouse with a different blue tooth adapter which is much smaller then the one provided. Works fine but did take a couple of extra steps to get the keyboard recognized. No lag on the mouse (but I am not a gamer) and only a very occasional lag of about 1/2 a second if the keyboard has not been used in awhile. Very happy with this keyboard/mouse. Should work fine if you have a built in Bluetooth in your laptop, just make sure the built in is running when you install the Logitech software. The SW allows customization of the mouse and keyboard buttons functions by program in use if desired. Was this review helpful?

I have been searching for just the right wireless keyboard and mouse combo for a long time and, I think I finally found it. Setup was a breeze, everything works flawlessly, and on top of all that it is very stylish also. The only negatives I can say is that I wish the mouse was for left-handers and the price is a little steep. But, overall it is worth it. Was this review helpful? |
