5 of 5 Great Printer Wednesday, December 10, 2008 A Customer from Hot Springs, AR
I work for a community mental health center with approximately 175 employees. We have purchased 3 of these printers and they have been working great. We placed one in the main building and 2 in outlying areas. All 3 were easy to put together and easy to set up on the network. Employees are excited about how fast the output has been. The price was even a bargain. I will continue to purchase this printer for future needs! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Pleased Wednesday, August 13, 2008 A Customer from Benton KY
Installation and setup went well even though there was no complete manual included (had to be printed online). The quick installation guide provided basic necessary information for setup. I encountered one problem in the distinctive ring setup for the fax but called tech support and they readily provided the answer to the problem. This is my second Samsung printer and I have been very pleased with the service I received from the first one. For the money, this is the best I could hope for. With the rebate I received from Buy.com, this was a tremendous purchase. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 You Get what you paid Friday, June 13, 2008 AZ from Baton Rouge, LA
I bought it about 2 weeks ago. It does the basic function like printing, faxing, scanning (B/W), and copying.
The down sides are: only scan to B/W no color, and it's tough to set to LAN connection and it's slow down the network.
I would rather to use USB connection straight to printer when I'm ready to print or to fax.

4 of 5 Good all in o ne for your home office. Sunday, May 11, 2008 A Customer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
One of the primary reasons to buy this multi function was its price and network connectivity.
Most of the functions worked out of the box (I have VISTA). The network connectivity took a little fiddling around.
Speed is good for what I use it for. Copying is fast too.
One complaint I have is that it keeps droping its network connection when it goes in the power-save mode.
Other-wise its good buy. More value than HP and Canon. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Fried after one week Tuesday, April 22, 2008 A Customer from Brooklyn, NY
After one week and about 9 pages printed I wound up with "Open Heat Error" on the control panel. Looking around this seems to be caused by the fuser burning out. Might be a common problem since there's mention of Samsung getting a bad "batch" of these on some message boards. Unfortunately I threw out the packing material so returning it is not an option. So now I have to schlep this brick to a local Samsung repair service for warranty. I've basically paid full price to buy what will become a refurbished unit. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product at great price Sunday, March 30, 2008 A Customer from Midway, Utah
Only been up an running for a week, but the delivery was fast, the setup was easy and the performance is great. With the rebate I got, the price was unbeatable. My only complaint is the scanning process is a little awkward. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well but degrades network performance when t Saturday, February 23, 2008 A Customer from Leesburg, VA
I ordered this network laser printer as a replacement for our USB-only multi-function ink jet printer. It was easy to setup and, once the IP address was configured correctly, my router quickly recognized it. The printing and scanning functions work well and the printer warms up quickly. We have not tried the fax feature. My only complaint is that when the printer is turned on the performance on our LAN is noticeably slower. Once it's turned off, the network speed returns to normal. 5 of 5 great multifunctional printer Wednesday, February 20, 2008 colin from Philadelphia, PA
I think this is the best one that I ever have.
I just bought this one on Feb. 1, 2008. Easy installation and easy use. The nice thing about this priter is it has toner save mode, which is very helpful when you need to print out draft.
It's also light and compact, and looks nice too. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best four-in-one I've ever owned. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 Ken from New York, NY
Bought this model a few months ago at another merchant for, after the same $140 rebate, a little more money. Love it; no paper jams, speedy printing, the few seconds warmup time from a cold start is as good as I've ever had. Fax send-and-receive super-fast when machine on the other end is up to it, otherwise, still fast. Printing and copying quality is digital-super.
Haven't used the scanner function. Windows XP and the Samsung software get along very well. I'd buy another at this price if I had room for it; this deal is that good Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easiest Printer to install Saturday, December 01, 2007 unixscott from Groton Ct
This Printer Is great. No cables to run once placed on network it detected itself and the software from both linux and XP found and installed it with no problems.
No waiting for pages from the old printer starts printing in a couple seconds if left alone a couple days but when awake I find myself waiting for pages that are already printed and waiting.
Have not tried Fax part No Land Lines at this time will need to get an adaptor for the VOIP.
